    Fluids of class 3 – 5, 6.1 or 8 with a permeability to liquids, need to be packed in a leak-proof inner packing according to 5.0.2.12.2 IATA. Valid for inner packing are flexible packings made of PE foil.

    100 micron quality: for heavy loads. 200 micron quality: extremely suitable for use in wooden boxes and for transport of dangerous goods.

    1. Vermiculite

      As a special aluminum iron magnesium silicat, vermiculite is a suitable, outstanding as a cushion, suction material to liquid dangerous goods and has a small dead weight. Besides that, it concerns a purely natural product, which is not flammable.

    2. Altacell / Flopack

      Altacell are S-shaped polystrol packing chips, which consist to 99 % of air and to 1 % of Polystrol. It is used for the replenishment of cardboard boxes etc., in order to protect the cargo against slipping and destruction.

    To close your packings for DGR shipment in the right way, you should use the so-called FILAMENT-Tapes. This is a transparent self-adhesive tape, made of BOPP foil, which has a length and crosswise reinforcement from glass fiber threads.

    The edge protection corners prevent the carton edges from tearing because of the straps. In our standard program, we offer edge protection corners in plastic with thorn.

    For the examination whether the danger goods were suspended inadmissible transport stresses, various indicators are offered:

    Shock-Watch
    This is a far common impact indicator, which does not have to be released. It colours red as soon as a too hard impact arises. This Shock-Watch is available as a tie-clip or as a label. The tie-clip serves the direct monitoring at the product, whereas the label is sticked on the external packing.

    WARMMARK Temperature indicators
    These indicators show reliably whether your transmission was exposed to harmful temperatures over a selected limit during the transport or the storage

    COLDMARK Frost indicators
    With these indicators a monitoring of your transmissions is ensured. The indicator shows if your transmission was exposed to temperatures under 0 °C.
